The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in Louisiana were held on November vi, 2018, to elect the half-dozen U.S. Representatives from the country of Louisiana, i from each of the state's six congressional districts. The elections coincided with other elections to the Firm of Representatives, elections to the Usa Senate, and various country and local elections.
Similar well-nigh Louisiana elections, these were conducted using a jungle primary that occurred on November 6, where all candidates ran on the aforementioned ballot in the main, regardless of party. Whatever candidate who earned an absolute bulk of the vote in the primary would be automatically alleged the winner of the ballot. However, if in whatever given congressional district no candidate gained an absolute majority of the votes, a runoff election between the peak 2 candidates within said congressional district would accept been held on December 8.[i] Nevertheless, the incumbent Representatives in all six districts each earned over l% of the vote in the jungle primaries, so no runoffs occurred.
